We collect this personally identifiable information including your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number and driver's license number. This information is only shared with the auction house running the auction, so that they my conduct a fair auction.

Where credit card details are taken, they are managed through our payment providers, which comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). This information is passed on to our payment providers via a secure link. Your card details are not be retained by us.

Interbid does not record peoples searches or what lots people view. Which lots people favourite or set reminders on, is stored for the duration of an auction and cleaned out before the next auction. Records of purchases are kept by Interbid and available to the auction house in order to conduct the sale of the lots.

A "cookie" is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and is stored on your computer. Many Internet connections are prone to short outages, which can cause the bidding program to disconnect. If people agree when they login, their username and password are stored in a temporary cookie, so that they can be automatically logged back in, any time there is a temporary disconnection.

An IP Address is a unique label that your device uses to access a network. Unless they are blocked, IP Addresses are recorded, when people bid using the bidding client program. These addresses are occasionally used to help verify bidding.

This site has links to the websites of the auction houses that conduct the auctions. The auction house websites have separate and independent privacy policies.
